Alexandra Duncan is a lifelong equestrian who has earned her USDF Silver and Gold Medals. She experienced success early on while competing in the N.A.J.Y.R.C. with the support and encouragement of her family. She has spent extensive time training in Europe with top trainers such as Bert Rutten, Jan Brink, and Anky van Grunsven.
Alex is a big believer in the North American Young Rider Program. As a member on the team, she earned double Gold with the team and individually at the NAYRC in 2006 & 2007. She continued on to become highest ranking Young Rider World Cup placing 4th.
Alex’s passion lies in teaching and working with horses and riders of all levels and particularly assisting Young Riders to become top level competitive international Dressage Riders.
Riding is all about developing an intuitive relationship between horse and rider. It’s about patience, caring, understanding and giving of the rider.
Accomplishments include:
4th in the World Young Rider World Cup
6th in Young Horse Grand Prix invitational Aachen Germany with Vital
1st Dutch National Championship I 1 Vital
U25 Grand Prix Champion Global and numerous wins at Grand Prix on the Wellington circuit and Tryon
